After the difficult birth of her first child it was only natural that Alma Cole waited a good three years to have a second one. Thankfully, it was a fairly easy pregnancy and Miranda Sue Cole came into the world just as it got dark one warm autumn night.

Like her brother, she was sent off to school at a young age and encouraged to be social. While Miranda did very well with her studies, being social didn't really work out for her. First she tried too hard, then she didn't try hard enough, then it was back to trying too hard. Other children found her hard to be friends with due to her defensive nature.

When she was thirteen, her brother up and left home. This was like a wakeup call for Miranda-she'd enjoyed a good relationship with Lance to the point where he was the only one she considered a friend. Now that he was gone, she realized she had to take being social a little more seriously. Her efforts haven't borne much fruit, but no one can accuse her of not trying!

Miranda is basically a smaller version of her mother; shy, quiet, would rather be indoors reading or sewing than out doing anything dangerous. Alma would be more worried about history repeating itself if Miranda weren't more sure of herself and quietly assertive than Alma was at that age...however, this doesn't stop her from occasionally poking her daughter to be a little more bold.

She thrives on being liked and thought of as "good" and "right"; she doesn't take well to being told she's wrong or confronted in any way. She's only slightly outgrown the defensive nature she had when she was young.

She's very feminine, but doesn't much care for frills and fluff as much as she does silks and laces. She also adores animals, especially her mother's pegasus.

Miranda's face and build are just like her mother's, and her hair almost exactly like her father's. Like her mother, she also looks young for her age, but doesn't mind it as much as Alma did.
